How does Jokello work?
- Create and verify your account. Confirm that you are 18 or over and use an email address you control.
- Choose your kind of funny. Select humour categories, a content level and excluded topics. Clean is the default; cheeky and adult humour are deliberate choices.
- Set your schedule. Choose a timezone and the delivery options available with your access. Scheduled email requires your explicit opt-in.
Can I get a daily joke by email?
Yes, with Personal access. You can choose up to three jokes per day and set the times in your timezone. Free access provides in-app jokes. Paid checkout is currently unavailable; a valid complimentary invitation or coupon can grant Personal access.
Do I have to subscribe to read a joke?
No. The homepage joke machine has a daily public preview, and our clean joke collections are open to read without an account. Creating a free account adds humour preferences and the ability to save and share favourites.
Will I get the same joke again?
The account experience avoids repeats and respects your filters. If the available collection runs out for your choices, the app tells you. You can broaden your preferences or explicitly allow repeats. The homepage preview uses a separate rotating selection.
Can I pause the emails?
Yes. Pause scheduled delivery in your preferences or use the unsubscribe link. Account emails, such as password recovery and verification, are separate from joke deliveries. SMS delivery is not currently available.
Are the jokes generated from my personal information?
No. Jokello selects from a reviewed collection. Compatible templates can use the names and interests you choose to provide; your details are not sent to a generative AI provider to create jokes. Read more about our approach.
